چکیده

پیوند میان تروریسم و مواد مخدر در آسیای مرکزی اساسا بر فهم ساده‌انگارانه‏ ای از وضعیت افغانستان مبتنی است و به همین دلیل نیز خشونت ناشی از قاچاق مواد مخدر در این منطقه به‏ طور عمده صرفا در سایه پیوند میان این دو پدیده شوم درک می‏ شود. این مقاله با تکیه بر مفهوم نارکوتروریسم، پیوند قاچاق مواد مخدر با فعالیت‌های تروریستی و تولید خشونت را مفروض می پندارد، اما ریشه فعالیت‏ های تروریستی در آسیای مرکزی را در تجارت مواد مخدر جستجو نمی‏ کند. در این راستا، مقاله حاضر در پی یافتن پاسخی مناسب برای این پرسش برآمده است که «چه رابطه ‏ای میان قاچاق مواد مخدر از مسیر آسیای مرکزی و خشونت‏ ها در این منطقه وجود دارد و ویژگی‏ های این رابطه چیست؟» فرضیه مقاله این است که «قاچاق مواد مخدر از مسیر آسیای مرکزی تروریسم را در این منطقه به شیوه‏ های گوناگون و پیچیده تسهیل می‌سازد، اما خشونت ‏های متعاقب قاچاق مواد مخدر در آسیای مرکزی کمتر با گروه‏ های تروریستی فراملی و بیشتر با گروه‌های ستیزه‌جوی محلی در پیوند قرار دارد و تجارت مواد مخدر نیز اصلی‏ ترین عامل تعیین‌کننده فعالیت‏ های تروریستی در آسیای مرکزی به‏ شمار نمی‏ آید.» به‏ منظور فراهم ساختن پایه ‏ای نظری برای بحث پیرامون پرسش مقاله و آزمون فرضیه، ابتدا مفهوم نارکوتروریسم و دیدگاه‏ها در خصوص پیوند نظری میان قاچاق مواد مخدر، تروریسم و خشونت ارائه شده و در ادامه نیز شواهد و توضیحات محتوایی پیرامون موضوع مقاله به بحث گذاشته شده است. نوع مقاله نیز بنا به ماهیت موضوع مورد مطالعه، اسنادی-کتابخانه ‏ای بوده و از روش توصیفی-تحلیلی برای تبیین رابطه میان متغیرها استفاده شده است.
